Ten formats, three kinds, one Oktoberfest.

With almost 600 members, the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest foreign chambers of commerce in Thailand. With various events and activities, which are organized by GTCC or in cooperation with our members, we are actively engaged in supporting our members and business contacts throughout the year.

Content events

Formats built around a subject and a speaker. Two of the five are members only.

Our events offer you access to top-class speakers, deep insights into the industry and extensive opportunities for networking with the German-Thai business world. Our guests include member companies, industry experts, legal advisors, policy makers and high-ranking political representatives from Thailand and Germany.

Breakfast Talk
Usually held by the GTCC itself or in cooperation with other chambers. The discussions and presentations aim to gain a deeper insight into a specific topic, inform about new business opportunities and highlight best practices.
Business Luncheon
Discussions and presentations held over a lunch, addressing subjects such as trade, economy but also political aspects that are relevant for German and Thai companies. The speakers are usually high-ranking representatives from the business community or politics.
Seminar, Workshop, Briefing
Seminars and workshops on current and relevant topics related to trade and business, and Briefings held at regular intervals, either independent or in conjunction with an Afterwork Networking in Bangkok or an ESB event in Pattaya.
Site Visit
Members only. In close cooperation with member companies, GTCC organizes regular site visits, which allow members to gain an insight into the premises and operational routine of another company.
New Members & Representatives Meet-up
Members only. A quarterly meeting at the GTCC headquarters, networking with up to 15 key decision-makers through a one-by-one introduction format.

Social events

The regular networking evening in Bangkok, and the monthly Eastern Economic Corridor evening in Pattaya that ten chambers take turns hosting.

AFTERWORK
The regular business networking event, an excellent platform for both members and non-members to connect, build new relationships, and engage with like-minded individuals and partners. The event typically follows a Briefing presented by a GTCC member company. Special editions include the Tri-Nation Edition and the annual Christmas networking event in December.
Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC)
A monthly networking evening in Pattaya hosted by one of the 10 leading chambers. GTCC hosts twice a year. There are about 100 to 150 C-level guests represented at each ESB networking event.

Annual events

One of them brings Munich to Bangkok for a thousand people. The other elects the Board.

Oktoberfest
Every year in October and November we bring the renowned Munich Oktoberfest to Bangkok, celebrating the annual festival with more than 1,000 guests. It features live entertainment from Germany in the original atmosphere with wooden Festzelt-benches, people in traditional Bavarian outfits, a wide range of German feasts, the genuine Oktoberfest beers as well as a Bavarian band.
Ordinary General Meeting
Members only. The annual meeting includes the election of new Directors to the Board for a full two-year term. In addition to the new Board members, a new President and Vice President will be elected every two years.

The chamber keeps its diary and its registration on its own Thailand Events Hub, and publishes a downloadable event calendar for the year. Individual dates are not copied here: a stale duplicate of somebody else’s calendar helps nobody.

Member companies pay the reduced rate, and every employee of a member company counts.

The reduced rate applies at breakfast talks, luncheons, seminars, site visits, AFTERWORK, the Eastern Seaboard evenings, the Oktoberfest and the Family Christmas party.
